Homeopathic Medicines

Homeopathic medicine

As many may know there are thousands of medical preparations or drugs produced and used in the todays world. All of those drugs can be divided in 2 major groups based on the principle of their action:

  • Allopathic or the main group which incorporates nearly 95% of all the drug in our world. These preparations are used in treatment of various diseases and dysfunctions.
  • Homeopathic medicine which are based on the principle of similarity. The principle states that an illness must be treated with the product which may cause this illness but in a very diluted form. So for example coffee if used before sleep may lead to insomnia but if used in homeopathic doses it causes sedative effect.
Homeopathic preparations may be used in a variety of cases including infections, cerebral blood flow disorders and others. There is no mutual agreement in the scientific world regarding homeopathic medicine. Such preparations are considered to have an placebo effect by one group of scientists and a cure for many disorders by others. However on nearly any instruction for a homeopathic preparation you may find a warning that if it does not help in treatment of the initial condition for 3 consecutive days then a visit to your health care provider is required.
